About Kernel

At Kernel, we believe we are very early on in the way we design and build software products. Our mission is to enable better products to be shipped through more consistent and realistic design.

Our product allows designers to connect their Figma files to content sources, generate their own content, and stress test their designs with real content and live data.

We are starting to onboard some of the best product-led companies in the world.

More background

Design tooling has made leaps and bounds in this direction over the last five years. The design process has become more accessible and understood, with collaboration living in the heart of our toolkit.

But for all the gains in collaboration, there are still hard limits on what designers are able to produce within our everyday design tool. Without meticulously sewing together prototypes or writing code, the limit is how true-to-life our designs can actually be.

The consequence is a vast gap between the static designs we produce and the code our users interact with.

At Kernel, we want to empower designers with access to tools that enable them to create more realistic designs, more easily. To start with, our product enables designers to pull in live data from APIs to stress test their designers.
